The setting underwent a vast modernization which improved it greatly in Fourth Edition, but the rules were changed to make it more accessible to new players which drastically changed the feel of the game mechanics to me. Going back to my experience with pencil-and-paper RPGs, I believe Shadowrun is the Cadillac of all tabletop roleplaying games, particularly in its Third Edition. I became pretty widely recognized as a faction strategist for NBN when I revealed my Never Advance strategy and decklist here on Boardgamegeek around the time Cyber Exodus released.īear with me - I'm going to answer this one a little sideways. Besides actually playing the game, I love to tinker with deckbuilding and strategy ideas, and I enjoy writing about my findings in articles and forums in the online A:NR community.
